Analysis of Hybrid Vehicle Usage Potential in the City of Adana

Abstract

The city of Adana lays above the
critical limits in terms of air quality. Within the scope of this study the
overall air quality of Adana was evaluated and a field research was executed to
determine the potential of usage for hybrid vehicles. First year engineering
students attended a questionnaire as representatives of potential consumers of
hybrid vehicles. Answers of 69 students were taken into account in total. An
interest of buying based on the environmentally friendly perception of hybrid vehicles
were observed. It is assumed that the widespread usage of hybrid vehicles will
contribute to the air quality of Adana

Hibrit Araç Kullanma Potansiyelinin Adana İli Özelinde Araştırılması

Abstract

Adana ili
hava kirliliği açısından kritik sınırların üzerinde yer almaktadır. Bu çalışma
kapsamında Adana ilinin hava kalitesi değerlendirilerek hibrit araçların
kullanma potansiyeli hakkında saha araştırması yapılmıştır. Potansiyel alıcı
kitlesini temsilen birinci sınıf mühendislik öğrencilerine hibrit araçlarla
ilgili yaklaşımlarını ölçmek üzere anket uygulanmıştır. Ankette değerlendirmeye
toplam 69 öğrencinin cevapları alınmıştır. Hibrit araçların doğa dostu olarak
algılandığı gözlenmiş olup bu sebeple satın alma isteği belirlenmiştir. Hibrit
araçların yaygınlaşmasının Adana ili özelinde hava kalitesinin artmasına
yardımcı olacağı öngörülmektedir.
