Sürdürülebilir Turizm Yaklaşımlarının ve Sorumlu Turizm Algılarının Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Turizm destinasyonlarında turistik faaliyetlerin sürekliliği açısından sürdürülebilir turizmin önemi artmakta ve bununla birlikte yeni kavramlar ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, sorumlu turizm sürdürülebilir turizmle ilişkilendirilmekte ve turizm yönetiminde önemli yaklaşımlardan biri olarak görülmektedir. Araştırmada, ziyaret edilen destinasyonlardaki doğal ve kültürel değerlerden faydalanma açısından sorumlu turizm bilincinin oluşturulmasının önemi vurgulanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, Adıyaman destinasyonunun sürdürülebilirliği açısından sorumlu turizm algısı ve bu alandaki sorumluluk duygusu belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada, Adıyaman'da turizmle ilgili alanlarda faaliyet gösteren kurum ve kuruluşlarda çalışan yetkili kişilerle derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Bu görüşmeler sonucunda elde edilen veriler yorumlanmış ve Adıyaman'da turizmin sürdürülebilirliği açısından sorumlu turizm algısının düzeyi ölçülmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışma, gelecekteki uygulamalarıyla Adıyaman'da sorumlu turizm anlayışının geliştirilmesine ve sürdürülebilir turizm açısından Adıyaman destinasyonundaki doğal ve kültürel değerlerin daha iyi korunmasına katkıda bulunacaktır.

Evaluation of Sustainable Tourism Approaches and Responsible Tourism Perceptions

Abstract

The importance of sustainable tourism in terms of the continuity of touristic activities in tourism destinations is increasing and new concepts are emerging with it. In this context, responsible tourism is associated with sustainable tourism and is seen as one of the important approaches in terms of managing tourism. In the research, it has been tried to emphasize the importance of creating responsible tourism awareness in terms of benefiting from the natural and cultural values in the visited destinations. In this study, the perception of responsible tourism in terms of the sustainability of Adıyaman destination and the sense of responsibility in this area were tried to be determined. In the study, in-depth interviews were conducted with authorized persons working in institutions and organizations operating in tourism-related fields in Adıyaman. The data obtained as a result of these interviews were interpreted and it was tried to measure the level of responsible tourism perception in Adıyaman in terms of the sustainability of tourism. This study will contribute to the development of responsible tourism understanding in Adıyaman and better protection of natural and cultural values in Adıyaman destination in terms of sustainable tourism with future applications.
