BAMBOO: AS A NEW ALTERNATIVE PRODUCT FOR SOLUTION OF TEA PLANTATION PROBLEMS IN THE BLACK SEA REGION
Abstract
Tea plantation has started since 1930 s and made important contributions to Blacksea Region and Turkish economy as well. The plantation has played important role for the people living especially in Blacksea Region and helped to increase their income. However ,since 1930s , the people planting and producing tea have had some problems and their problems are getting growing in time. The fundemental in the agriculture politics after 2000s such as the commitmens with Eurupean Nations, the agreement with Word Trade Organization Intention letters to the International Money Foundation (IMF) i.e. and international regulations point to upcoming changes or amendment for other agricultural products. There are some problems causing either from the structure of tea sectors or external sources. In order to minimize these problems, some precautions should be taken . These precautions shoud take our country’s conditions into account. In others words, those precautions should not bring additional financial burders and decrease people’s income living in the region. Therefore , Bamboo plant is a good alternative for tea plantation because it can easily adopt the region climate and ecology and bamboo is a plant have additional advantages for the Black sea Region.
