EFFECTS OF ECONOMIC CRISIS ON THE FOREST INDUSTRY (A SAMPLE OF RIZE PROVINCE)

Abstract

Especially, Border ceased and increasing capital movement at the national and international market constitutes negative results on the developing economics. The November and February crisis made an important destruction on the industry and dealt a blow to developing economic in Turkey. Effects of crisis are much more feeling particularly undeveloped industry regions than the other regions. The results of crisis weren't been investigated in the sector level in the manufactures industry. Aim of this study determined to effects of crisis at the forest product industry, active position in the manufacturer industry in the Rize selected area in the Eastern Black Sea Region not be taken desired share in the industry structure. In the random chosen establishments, 40 questionnaire forms filled with face-to-face communication method. As a result, it was determined that the fiscal structure and the production capacities of these establishments were important level lost and decreased respectively.

EKONOMİK KRİZİN ORMAN ÜRÜNLERİ SANAYİ ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİLERİ (RİZE İLİ ÖRNEĞİ)

Abstract

Ulusal ve uluslar arası piyasalarda ticari anlamda sınırların kalkması ve sermaye hareketlerinin artması özellikle gelişmekte olan ekonomiler üzerinde olumsuz sonuçlar oluşturabilmektedir. Ülkemizde yaşanan Kasım ve Şubat krizleri sanayi isletmeleri üzerinde önemli ölçüde tahribatlar yapmış ve ekonominin gelişimine darbe vurmuştur. Özellikle sanayinin yeterli düzeyde gelişmemiş olduğu bölgeler krizin etkilerini daha yüksek düzeyde hissetmişlerdir. Bu çalışmada sanayi gelişimi bakımından istenilen seviyede olmayan Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesi kapsamında Rize ili pilot bölge olarak seçilmiş ve orman ürünleri sanayi isletmeleri üzerinde krizin etkilerinin Belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Rastgele seçilen 40 isletme üzerinde yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi yardımıyla yapılan çalışma sonucunda, isletmeler bünyesinde kapasite ve üretim seviyelerinde yüksek düzeyli düşüşler belirlenmiştir. İsletmelerin mali yapılarında önemli kayıplar yaşanmıştır.
