FOREIGN TRADE OF PARTICLEBOARD IN TURKEY AND MEMBER COUNTRIES OF EUROPEAN UNION WHILE THE MEMBERSHIP OF TURKEY IN PROGRESS

Abstract

Turkey is making required reforms for entering The European Union that is one of the most important economical unions worldwide. The economical powers of member countries and other countries their memberships are in progress in this union are dependent on their industrial structures. Forest products industry has an important role in economical structure of Turkey. In this study; production, export and import quantity and values in particleboard sub-sector which has a great portion in forest products industry in Turkey and member countries of European Union were given comparatively as a function of years. Then, it was  tried to reveal the situation of Turkey in foreign trade of particleboard. As a result, it was determined that Turkey took place in ninth place in production and the last places in import and export of particleboard when compared to the member countries of European Union.

AVRUPA BİRLİĞİNE GİRİŞ SÜRECİNDE TÜRKİYE İLE AVRUPA BİRLİĞİ ÜYE ÜLKELERİN YONGA LEVHA DIŞ TİCARETİ

Abstract

Dünya genelinde oluşturulan ekonomik birlikteliklerin en önemlilerinden olan Avrupa Birliği (AB)’ye giriş sürecinde olan Türkiye, bu amaç doğrultusunda gerekli reformları yapmaktadır. AB’ne üye ve aday olan ülkelerin birlik içerisindeki ekonomik güçlerini sanayi yapıları gösterecektir. Türkiye’nin  ekonomik yapılanmasında Orman Ürünleri Sanayi önemli bir paya sahiptir. Bu çalışmada orman ürünleri sanayi içinde büyük bir pay sahibi olan yonga levha alt sektörünün yıllara bağlı olarak AB üye ülkeleri ve Türkiye’ye ait üretim, ihracat, ithalat miktar ve değerleri karşılaştırmalı olarak verilmiş, Türkiye’nin yonga levha ürünü için dış ticaretteki yeri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.  Çalışma sonucunda Türkiye’nin yonga levha üretiminde AB  üye ülkeler içinde 9. sırada yer aldığı belirlenirken, ihracat, ithalatta son sıralarda yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir.
