19. Yüzyılda Üretilmiş Göç Temalı Reklâm ve İllüstrasyon Tasarımları

Abstract

On dokuzuncu yüzyıl insanlık tarihinde önemli teknolojik ve bilimsel gelişmelerin olduğu bir dönem olmuştur. Endüstriyel devrim dünyayı hızla değiştirmiş yeni iş imkânları ve üretim modelleri toplumların önlerine sunulmuştur. On dokuzuncu yüzyılda dünyada endüstriyel gelişim devam ederken işçi sınıfı ortaya çıkmıştır. Sanayi devrimini yaşayan gelişmiş ülkelerde köyden kente göçler başlamış ve şehirlerin yapısı değişikliklere uğramıştır. Buna ek olarak sömürgeleştirilen ya da siyasi karışıklığın olduğu coğrafyalardan insanlar gelişmiş ya da gelecek vadeden ülkelere göç etmiştir. Bu durum iş gücüne katkıda bulunduğu gibi sanayi devrimini yaşayan ülkelerde birtakım sosyal ve kültürel değişikler meydana gelmiştir. Bu önermeleri desteklemek sosyal bilimlerin araştırma konusu olmasının yanında görsel sanatlar alanında da incelenmesi gereken bir konudur. Çünkü on dokuzuncu yüzyıla ait üretilmiş grafik işler bulunmaktadır. Bu işler arasında en önemlisi afiş tasarımlarıdır. Bu araştırma on dokuzuncu yüzyılda üretilmiş afişlere örnekler sunarak göçün aslında insanlık tarihinin her zaman yaşadığı önemli bir olgu olduğunu göstermek için ortaya konulmuştur. Afişler üzerinden sanayi devrimi dönemi toplumlarımın göç konusundaki davranışları nitel araştırma yöntemleriyle açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır.
