In today's globalizing world, the volume of international trade is increasing every year. However, social, cultural and economic developments accelerate international and national human mobility. Due to these developments, speed gains importance and the air transport sector is growing every year. However, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, which emerged in China at the end of 2019 and spread rapidly all over the world, the aviation industry entered a major crisis. The aviation sector is thought to be one of the sectors most affected by the epidemic. The aim of this study is to quantitatively reveal the negative effects of the Covid-19 epidemic on the aviation industry. In this context, assuming that 2020 never happened, predictions for 2020, 2021 and 2022 were made with the ARIMA model. Thus, the quantitative dimensions of the crisis experienced were revealed by comparing the transportation data in 2020 with these estimates. In addition, the air transport sector is divided into two components as passenger transport and freight transport. It has been concluded that the epidemic affects passenger transportation much more than freight transportation.
