Evaluation of Cities In Terms of Hazardous Waste Amount by MULTIMOORA Method

Abstract

In this study, it was aimed to evaluate and rank the 81 provinces in Turkey in terms of the amount of hazardous waste. In this direction, a decision matrix was established containing 5 criteria and 81 alternatives. While this decision matrix was being created, the 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015 data were used published by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization on the website. In the study, 81 provinces located in Turkey in terms of the amount of hazardous wastes were evaluated using MULTIMOORA method and the alternatives were ranked. Criterion weights were taken as equal and as a result of evaluations made with MULTIMOORA method, it was seen that the least hazardous waste amount is in Bayburt and the most hazardous waste amount is in Kocaeli
