Publication Principles

ASSOS Journal of Research in Humanities and Social Sciences abides by the principles of academic integrity and takes into account the recommendations of ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors), which includes the principles of evaluation in the context of academic integrity, and the international standards of publication ethics for authors and editors provided by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). All publications are subject to a double-blind peer review process based on an initial screening by editorial criteria, and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) evaluation principles include significant contribution to the field, conceptual quality, appropriate methodology, and clarity of expression.“Publishing an article in a 'double-blind, peer-reviewed' journal is essential to the development of a coherent and reputable knowledge network. In double-blind peer review, articles written by 'prestigious' or renowned authors are evaluated based on the content of their article rather than the reputation of the author. Authors should ensure that they are writing entirely original work, and if authors have used the work and/or words of others, they should ensure that this is properly cited or attributed.
