A Literature Review on Borderline Personality Patterns of Mothers and Their Children’s Sensitivity to Rejection, Anger, and Aggression

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, annelerin borderline kişilik örüntüleri ile çocuklarının reddedilme
duyarlılığı, öfke ve saldırganlıklarının ilişkisi üzerine yapılmış araştırmalardan elde edilen bulguların incelenmesidir.
Yöntemler: Araştırmaya, Türkçe ya da İngilizce olarak yazılmış ve 1995–2022 tarih aralığını kapsayan ilgili çalışmalar dahil edilmiştir. Makale ve tezlerin taraması, yalnızca Yök Tez, Dergipark,
ApaPsycnet, Pubmed, Clinical Key, ScieneDirect, ResarchGate, Sagejournals, Taylor & Francis ve
JStor siteleri üzerinden sağlanmıştır.
Bulgular: İncelenen çalışmalardan elde edilen bulgulardan ilki, annelerin borderline kişilik örüntüsü ile çocuklarındaki reddedilme duyarlılığı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmaması yönündedir.
Araştırmalarda reddedilme duyarlılığına sahip olan bireylerin annelerinde, borderline kişilik örüntüsünün bulunmadığı sonucu yer almaktadır. Öfke ve saldırganlık üzerine yürütülmüş çalışmalarda ise borderline kişilik örüntüleri olan annelerin çocuklarında, sağlıklı annelerin çocuklarına
göre daha fazla öfke ve saldırganlık problemleri olduğu bulgusu yer almaktadır.
Sonuç: Çalışmalara göre bu problemler ile büyümüş olan çocuklar, maruz bırakıldıkları saldırgan
ya da ihmalkâr tutumları, kendi çocuklarına da uygulayabilmesinden dolayı çocukların ilerleyen
dönemlerdeki ilişkileri için de psikososyal bir risk teşkil ettiği belirtilmiştir.
