In years of World War Two, Turkey caused to the dispute of allied and axis powers due to its strategic importance and both group made effort to get Turkey involved in the war along with them. Despite all pressures made, Turkey also achieved to stay out of the war and followed policy in this direction. However in this process, especially Britain pursued an efficient policy on Turkey and speeded up military relations and tried to attract Turkey to its own rank. With this purpose, many British delegations came to Turkey from start of the war; discussions were made about strategic and military issues. As a result of these discussions, the quality and quantity of the aids to be made to Turkey were determined. Following Adana conference, military aid matter became clearer and the military materials of Britain in Middle East were began to transport to Turkey. This paper is handled and prepared in consequence of the classification of the documents related to World War Two in the archive of General Staff, Department of Military History and Strategic Survey and the opening to studies of researchers of the documents is abolished.
