EGE BÖLGESİ HALK MÜZİĞİNDEKİ ÇOK SESLİLİK / POLYPHONIC ELEMENTS IN THE FOLK MUSIC OF THE AEGEAN REGION

Abstract

ÖZET
Bu çalışmada, Ege Bölgesi Halk Müziğindeki çoksesli unsurların neler
olduğu sorusuna yanıt aranmıştır. Bölgeye ilişkin örneklerin çoksesli unsurlar
bakımından değerlendirilmesi sonucunda dem tutma, paralellik ve dem tutma ile
paralelliğin birlikte kullanıldığı üç tip belirlenmiştir.

ABSTRACT
This study is intended to provide an answer to the question of what the
polyphonic elements in the Folk Music of the Aegean Region are. The evaluation
of the samples chosen from the region on the basis of polyphonic elements has
revealed three types; one İn which drone İs used; one in which parallelism is used;
and one İn which both drone and parallelism are used together.
