Aim & Scope

Atebe Journal aims to contribute to national and international knowledge in the field of religious studies by publishing research articles, critical texts, review articles, translated articles, reviews, scientific meeting studies and biographies with scientific qualifications.

It is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published two times a year in June and December. The target group of the Journal consists of academicians, professionals, students, related and academic bodies, and institutions.

The scope of our journal includes scientific studies in the field of Tafsir, Hadith, Kalām, Islamic Law, History of Islamic Sects, Sufism, Arabic Language and Literature, Islamic Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, Psychology of Religion, Sociology of Religion, Religious Education, History of Religions, Logic, History of Islam, History of Islamic Arts, Turkish-Islamic Literature, Religious Music and Religion Culture and Ethics Education. In addition to Turkish, which is the language of publication, English and Arabic studies are also published in our journal.


Articles submitted for publication in our journal are subject to double-blind peer-review evaluation by at least two referees. In addition, it is confirmed that the articles have not been published before and do not contain plagiarism, through a special program used in plagiarism detection.
