Abstract

Celiac Disease (CD) is a chronic autoimmune enteropathy that affests all systems, although it mostly affects the small intestine. In Ulcerative colitis (UC), which is an Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), there is recurrent immune activation and inflammation of the gastrointestinal system. According to the literature, the coexistence of CD and UK was found to be infrequent. In this article, we present a young female patient with CD who developed UC.

Nadir Bir Birliktelik: Çölyak Hastalığı ve Ülseratif Kolit
