Üreme Sağlığı ve Probiyotikler

Abstract

Kadın üreme sistemi mikroorganizma flrası, üreme sağlığı, gebelik ve yenidoğan sağlığı
yönünden önemlidir ve son yıllarda mikrobiyom projesi kapsamında araştırılmaktadır. Üreme
sistemi mikrobiyomu çok çeşitli ve aktiftir. Sadece vajinanın değil endometrial kavitenin, fallop
tüplerinin ve ovaryan foliküler sıvının da mikrobiyal flrası olduğu gösterilmiştir. Bireyin
mikrobiyomunun tanımlanması önemlidir, mikrobiyomdaki değişiklikler kadın genital sistem
sağlığı, fertilite, gebelik ve yenidoğan sağlığı üzerinde olası potansiyel etkilere sahiptir. Genital
organlarda polimikrobiyal çeşitliliğin azaltılması ve Laktobasil egemenliğinin sağlanması
amaçlanmalıdır. Bu yönde yapılacak yeni tedavi uygulamalarının mevcut tedavilere eklenmesi
ile üreme sistemi hastalıklarının tedavisinin etkinliği artabilir.
