Abstract
ÖZ
Diyabetik ayak ülserleri, diyabetin sık görülen, önemli morbidite ve mortaliteye sebep olabilen ciddi bir komplikasyonudur. Ayrıca hastaların hayat kalitesinin bozulmasına ve yüksek tedavi maliyetlerine yol açmaktadır. Diyabetli bireylerde kan şekeri regülasyonunun sağlanması, risk faktörlerinin düzeltilmesi ve günlük ayak muayenesi gibi hasta eğitimleri yara bakımı kadar önemlidir. Özellikle nöropatisi olanlarda mikro ve makro travmalar diyabetik ayak ülseri oluşumuna neden olabilmektedir. Ayağına batan küçük bir cam parçası sonrası ayak ülseri gelişen ve diz altı ampütasyon ile sonuçlanan bir olgumuzu sunmak istedik.
