Abstract
Hiponatremi serum sodyum konsantrasyonunun normalin altında olması olup klinik pratikte oldukça sık karşılaşılan bir durumdur. Hiponatremi ile başvuran hastaların acil tedavisi başlandıktan sonra etiyolojik incelemesinin mutlaka yapılması gerekmektedir. Övolemik hiponatremi ile başvuran hastalarda ise uygunsuz antidiüretik hormon salınımı sendromu (UADHS) mutlaka akla getirilmelidir. Venlafaksin gibi sıkça kullanılan bazı ilaçlar UADHS’a sebep olabilmektedir. Bu yazımızda, nöropatik ağrı sebebiyle venlafaksin başlanan bir hastada gelişen UADHS vakası sunulmuştur.
