EPHEMEROPTERA (INSECTA) LIMNOFAUNA OF SULTANSUYU STREAM (MALATYA)

Öz

A total of 1838 nymph samples from 7 localities in Sultansuyu Stream (Malatya) were collected between July-2006 and August-2007 and investigated to determine Ephemeroptera (Insecta) limnofauna of the stream. 10 taxa in the species level and 4 taxa in the genus level belonging to 10 genera in 6 families were determined (Baetis buceratus, B. lutheri, B. rhodani, B. vernus, Caenis macrura, Cloeon dipterum, C. simile, Ecdyonurus sp., Electrogena sp., Epeorus sp., Ephemera vulgata,Ephemerella ignita, Potamanthus luteus and Rhitrogena sp.). All determined taxa in the genus and species level has been new record for Sultansuyu Stream.

SULTANSUYU ÇAYI (MALATYA)’NIN EPHEMEROPTERA (INSECTA) LİMNOFAUNASI

Öz

Sultansuyu Çayı (Malatya)’nın Ephemeroptera (Insecta) Limnofaunasını tespit etmek amacıyla Temmuz-2006 ile Ağustos-2007 tarihleri arasında 7 lokaliteden, 1838 nimf örneği toplanarak incelenmiş ve 6 familyaya ait, 10 cinse bağlı, tür düzeyinde 10, cins düzeyinde ise 4 takson (Baetis buceratus, B. lutheri, B. rhodani, B. vernus, Caenis macrura, Cloeon dipterum, C. simile, Ecdyonurus sp., Electrogena sp., Epeorus sp., Ephemera vulgata, Ephemerella ignita, Potamanthus luteus ve Rhitrogena sp.,) tespit edilmiştir. Cins ve tür düzeyinde tespit edilen taksonların tamamı, Sultansuyu Çayı için yeni kayıttır.
