This study is a p art of a general v o rk which aims to investigate the complexes made by Schiff bases and transition metals (Maggio, Pizzino and Romano, 1974), The complexes between Schiff bases and transition metals have a great im portance in coordination chemistry (Elerman, Paulus and Fuess, 1991). The aims of the present work are indexing of powder diffraction data, obtained froın three Schiff bases, and precise lattice param eter determ inations for possible crystal structural works.
For this purpose, diffraction data of C14H 13ON, C21H 22N2O2Ni, C17 H lg O2N2 were obtained and lattice param eters vere refined by appl- ying least-squares method.
