Spontan Pnömotorakslarda Alfa-1-Antitripsinin Rolü

Abstract

The role of emphysema on the etiology of 24 spontaneous pneu- mothorax cases who were applied to our department of thoracic sur- gery at Ankara University School of Medicine is discussed. For this reason, the past medical history, physical examination and radiologic findings in spontaneous pheumothorax cases were searched. For func- tional and biochemical characteristics, the conventional] spirometry and arterial blood gas determinations with serum alpha-l-antytripsin levels were taken as basis. The cases which do not have any other pat- hology other than pneumothorax were evaluated by comparing with control group. During evaluation, the age, the sex, the smoking habits and the number of pneumothorax attacks were considered, The results were discussed in accordance with literature.

Abstract

Anabilim Dalmiza basvuran 24 spontan pnémotoraksh olgunun etyolojisinde, amfizemin rolu tartisildi. Bu amacla olgularin sorgusu, fizik muayenesi, radyolojik karakterleri arastirildi. Fonksiyonel ve biyosimik karakterleri iginde, konvansiyonel spirometri ve arteriyel kan gazlari tetkikleri ile serum alfa-l-antitripsin (@-1-AT) miktarlan esas alindi. Pnémotoraks bulgusu diginda baskaca bir pulmoner pa- toloji saptanamayan olgular kontrol srupuyla kiyaslanarak degerlen- dirildi. Degerlendirmede olgularin yas, cinsiyet, sigara aliskanligi ve pnomotoraks atak sayilari esas alind). Sonuglar literatitir verileriyle tartisild).
