EVALUATION OF SEXUAL FUNCTIONS IN BPH PRE AND POST OP PERIOD

Abstract

The sexual functions in male sex is most active between the agesof 25-45. The prostate gland is one of the organs which have a main role in these functions. After 4. decade, especially in 5. decade sexuale function disorders, due to BPH began to be seen. At first, it may be seen as a transient loss of libido, but after a while erectile disorders can be encountered in every race and couniry. In the preoperative period, the age statüs and the cardiovascü lar status of the patients were well documented, the sexual Tunctions of the patients were also were evaluated. The enviromental, cultural and feeding factors were considered as parameters influencing these functions. After the TUR of the prostatee gland, the sexual functions were again evaluated. The control group was consisting of the patienis Who were at the same ages and had upper urinary tract operations. In this study on effect of TUR-P on sexual functions was determined.

Bph da Pre ve Post Op. Dönemde Seksüel Fonksiyonların Değerlendirimi

Abstract

Erkek sekste seksüel fonksiyonlar 25 - 45 yaşları arasında en aktif düzeydedir. Prostat glandı bu fonksiyonel işlevde esas görevi üstlenen organlardan biridir. 4, dekaddan sonra ve hemen genellikle 5. dekaddan sonra prostat hipertrofisine bağlı olarak seksüel fonksiyonlarda, değişiklikler ortaya çıkar. Bu başlangıçta geçici libido artışı şeklinde olabileceği gibi zamanla, gelişen potens kaybı hemen genellikle her ırk ve memlekette gözlenen bir özelliktir. Pre op. dönemde yaş faktörü ve kardiyovasküler sistem göz önünde bulundurularak olguların seksüel fonksiyonları ile ilgili özellikleri hastalarla iyi bir diyalog kurularak dökümante edildi. Çevre faktörleri, beslenme ve kültürel düzeyleri birer parametre olarak değerlendirildi. Bu olgulara trans üretral rezeksiyon endikasyonu konulup uygulandıktan sonra post op. dönemde seksüel fonksiyonları incelendi. Aynı yaş gurubunda bulunan ve üst üriner sistem operasyonu uygulanan olgular kontrol grubu olarak incelenerek araştırma grubu ile karşılaştırıldı. Bu çalışmada BPH da, transüretrel rezeksiyonun değişik derecede seksüel fonksiyonlar üzerine etki ettiği ortaya konulmuştur.
