Foreign Body in the Chest Wall: Case Report

Abstract

Thoracic traumas are important causes of mortality and morbidity. Penetrating thoracic traumas rarely than blunt thoracic traumas. In this article, we present a-15-year-old male case admitted to our clinic due to pain and erythema in left chest wall which he had suffered for six month. The case was diagnosed to have foreign body in the chest wall by thoracic compiterized tomography. The case was operated and the foreign body was resected. The case who had no complications during the follow up period was discharged from hospital.

Toraks Duvarında Yabancı Cisim

Abstract

Toraks travmaları önemli mortalite ve morbidite nedenlerindendir. Penetran toraks travmaları künt toraks travmalarından daha az görülür. Bu makalede, 6 aydır sol toraks duvarında ağrı ve kızarıklık șikayeti ile kliniğimize bașvuran 15 yașındaki erkek olgu sunuldu. Hastaya yapılan toraks bilgisayarlı tomografi tetkiki ile toraks duvarında yabancı cisim tanısı konuldu. Hasta opere edildi ve yabancı cisim eksize edildi. Takibinde herhangi bir komplikasyon görülmeyen hasta taburcu edildi.
