The Effects Of Nıtroglycerın And Ethylene Glycol Dınıtrate On The Health Of Dynamıte Workers
Abstract
The study was conducted on 43 dina mit and 17 control group workers who were exposed to nitroglycerin and ethylene glycol dinitrate in other jobs. There was no difference between the two worker groups in terms of age, years of work, shift, pre-shift systolic diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate (p>0.05). In the 24-hour urine samples, VMA was higher in the dynamite workers than in the control group. were found to be high, but there was no statistical difference (p>0.05). The difference between the average pulse rates before and after shifts in all dynamite workers was investigated with the Paired T test for significance control, and a difference was found (P<0.01). There was an increase in the pulse rate after the shift. No difference was detected in other parameters. In the sections of the dynamite factory, the mean systolic blood pressure after shift in the dough workers was different from the mean systolic blood pressure after shift in the workers doing other jobs in the dynamite factory (P<0.01).
