Abstract
Genetik hastalıklar kalıtsal materyel DNA'da, değişimle gerçekleşirler ve bu nedenle tedavisi olanaksız gibi gözükürler. Günümüzde ise yeni yöntemlerin gelişmesiyle bazı hastalıklarda tedavi bazısında ise koruyucu (prevantif) önlemler olanaklı hale gelmektedir. Bu olanakların doğması klasik etik kurallar ile çözümlenmesi zor sorunlar
çıkmasına neden olmaktadır. Toplumun bilinçlenmesi ile bu sorulargelecekte çözümlenebilecek olsalar bile teknolojik gelişmeler yeni s0-runlar yataracaktır. Günümüzde selektif abortus, tarama testleri, antenatal tanı, cinsiyet seleksiyonu ve özellikle gelecekte gen manüplasyonu önemli sorunlar olarak görünmektedir.

Abstract
Genetic diseases occur in the genetic material DNA, through changes, and therefore seem impossible to treat. Today, with the development of new methods, treatment for some diseases and preventive measures for others have become possible. The emergence of these possibilities has led to problems that are difficult to solve with classical ethical rules. Although these questions can be solved in the future with the awareness of society, technological developments will create new problems. Today, selective abortion, screening tests, antenatal diagnosis, gender selection and especially gene manipulation in the future seem to be important problems.
