Abstract

Bu çahsma 12 normotensif gebeden olusan kontrol ve 31 preeklamptik, eklamptik ve kronik hipertansiyon ile süperempoze preekJampsi grubundan olusan toplam 43 gebe olguda yapllrmstlr. Abstract

Maternal serum urate levels were studied in 12 normal pregnancies, 16 cases of pre-eclampsia, 9 cases of eclampsia and 6 cases of eclampsia superimposed in chronic hypertension. Markedly elevated levels of serum urate were found in studied groups. High serum urate levels, low birth weight and high incidence of perinatal distress were found in patients with pre-eclampsia and eclampsia. Findings were discussed
