Letterer-Siwe Hastalığının Sitolojik Özellikleri

Abstract

Letterer-Siwe hastalığı olan üç vakadan elde edilen ince iğne aspirasyon biyopsi ve imprint preparatları incelendi. İki hasta kız, bir tanesi erkek olup hepsi üç yaşının altında bulunmaktadır. Yaymalarda esas olarak monositoid özelliğe sahip hücrelerin sitolojik tabloya egemen olduğu gözlenmiştir. Vakaların doku kesitlerinde de sitolojik tanıyla uyumlu görünümler saptanmıştır. Böylece bu hastalığın tanısında sitolojik incelemenin yararlı olabileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.

The eytologic features of Letterer-Siwe's disease

Abstract

“The authors examindü fine-needle aspiration biopsy and imprint preparations taken from three cases having Letterer-Siwe's disease. Two out of three cases were female, one being male. All of the cases were under three years' old. It was observed that cells having monocytoid features predominated the cytologic picture. It was also demonstrated that the histological slides were in accordance with the mcytological preparations. Therefore the authors conclude that cytological examination is useful in diagnosing that disease.
