In the human organism, it is seen that MELANOCYTES, which are responsible for melanin production, can be divided into epidermal, meningeal and uveal according to their distribution locations. These cells need to be separated from MELANOBLAST, MELANOPHAGE AND PIGMENTED BASAL CELLS. Melanoblasts are embryonic cells capable of producing melanin. Melanophages are pigment phagocytosed cells.
