Abstract

Abstract

This study was performed on 30 female patients with SLE aged between 17-44 years old. Serum anti-DNA, immunoglobulines, serum complement levels were measured together with protein electrophoresis. The serum prolactine levels were also measured and correlated with immunological data during the activation and remission of SLE. There was a positive correlation in these cases in their active stage. These results were not in accordance with the findings observed during pregnancy in which a clinical and immunological remission was observed related to SLE together with hyperprolactinemia.
