LEVEL OF USEFULNESS OF VARIOUS THERAPEUTIC ACTIVITIES ACCORDING TO PATIENTS IN PSYCHIATRY CLINIC

Abstract

Different units of the psychiatry clinic of the medical faculty, University of Ankara, utilize different therapeutic activities in an ecleçtic and integrative fashion. EHach unit is considered to be a «Therapeutic Community». As it is difficult to compare the relative efficacy of different therapeutic activities among different units, a single unit and a single team is selected to minimize methodological difficulties. The first four of the 14 therapeutic activities selected to be the most efticient by the patients are «Individual Psychotherapy», Drug Therapy», «Group Therapy» and «Talk on a Topic Hour». The effects of sociodemographic and diagnostic factors on patients' choices are then studied and compared with the results of similar studies in the literature,

PSİKİYATRİ SERVİSİNDE YATAN HASTALARA GÖRE DEĞİŞİK TERAPÖTİK ETKİNLİKLERİN YARARLILIK DÜZEYİ

Abstract

A.Ü. Tıp Fakültesi Psikiyatri Kliniğinin servislerinde yatarak tedavi gören hastalar, çok yönlü bütüncül tedavi yaklaşımı çerçevesinde oluşturulan bir «Terapötik Ortam» içinde birçok değişik terapötik etkinlikten yararlanırlar. Bu çalışmada sözü edilen terapötik etkinliklerin yararlılık düzeyinin, hastaların değerlendirmesine göre saptanması amaçlanmıştır. Değişkenliği en aza indirmek için değerlendirmeye sadece bir tedavi ekibince yürütülen etkinliklere katılan hastalar alınmıştır (Kadın Psikoz Servis). En yararlı bulunan dört terapötik etkinlik, sırasıyla «Bireysel Görüşmeler», «İlaç Tedavisi, «Grup Terapisi» ve «Serbest Konuşma Saati» olmuştur. Daha sonra hastaların değişik sosyodemografik ve tanısal özelliklerinin tercihlerini nasıl etkilediği araştırılmış, sonuçlar literatür bulgularıyla karşılaştırılmıştır.
