Abstract

This study was performed by reviewing the records of treated alcohol dependents admitted to the same (male, psychotic) wardof a university hospital (in the years of 1980 and 1981) and treated by
teams of different orientation organic versus dynamic. İwo study groups were formed according to the years. Data were collected concerning their identifying information, drinking history and process of
hospitalization findings were reflected on six tables and results were discussed comparing the two groups. Suggestions were given for planning a standardized new approach for the treatment of alcohol dependents and the need of further investigation surveying the data of more than 2 years, plus a follow up study to support or reject the findings on ««condition on discharge» and «prognosis» variables of this study.

Abstract

Bu araştırmada iki ayrı çalışma döneminde farklı oryantasyonu olan tedavi ekiplerinin denetiminde olan aynı psikoz katında; yatarak tedavi gören alkolik hastalara ait klinik bilgiler dosyalardan taranarak derlenmiş ve altı tablo oluşturulmuştur. Bulgular tartışılmış ve istatistiksel anlamlılık taşıyanlar belirlenmiş, sonuçlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Alkol bağımlılığının yatarak tedavisinde farklı klinik beklentiler oldğuunun saptanmasıyla, bunların aslında, birbirini bütünlediği ve ortak bir çerçeveye kavuşturulması gerektiği üzerinde durulmuş geleceğe yönelik bazı öneriler sunulmuştur.
