Abstract

Low-dose intravenous continous insülin administration and highdose intermittent subcutaneously administered insülin therapy were compared in 26 diabetic ketoacidosis. Out of 26 patients, 18 cases received high-dose and 8 cases Iow dose insülin. İn high dose group. Metabolic control were obtained, in 18 29 hours with 2.3 0.16 kg/day insülin, whereas in the Iow-dose group in 3.7 0.17 hourswith 0.70 0.11. Ü/kg/day insülin.

Abstract

AÜ. Tıp Fak. Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Kliniği Metabolizma ve Endokrin bölümünde izlenen 26 diabetik ketosidozun 18 inde yüksek doz aralıklı, 8 sinde düşük doz sürekli insülin uygulaması yapılmışeır. Yüksek doz uygulamasında yaklaşık 18 2.9 saatlik bir sürede 2,3 0.16 Ü/kg İlk, infüzyon yapılanlarda ise 3.7 + 0.17 saatlik sürede 0.70 0.11 Ü/kg insülinle metabolik denetim sağlanmıştır
