Abstract

1 — Some of the more common and obvious clinical syndrome arising from mechanical and degenerative derangements of the lumbar spine are defined.

2 — Some principles in the selection of cases for surgical treatment are discussed and it is stressed how small part operative intervention plays in the overall problem of low back derangemeni.

3 — Details of surgical techniğue in the eight types of syndrom, are described İrom past experiences in the clinic, but not without recognition of the fludity of this comparatively new field and its continuing evolution.

Abstract

Lumpbar vertebraların dejeneratif ve mekanik bozukluklardan menşe alan ve en yaygın bazı klinik sendromlar ele alınmıştır. Cerrahi tedavi için vaka seçimindeki bazı prensipler ve bütün bel ağrı problemlerinin ne kadar az bir kısmının cerrahi müdahale gerektirdiği münakaşa edilmiştir. Geçmişteki klinik tecrübelerimize dayanarak ve bunun yanında nispeten yeni bir saha olduğu ve devamlı bir gelişim içinde bulunduğu da göz önünde tutularak, 8 değişik sendromun cerrahi teknik detayları anlatılmıştır.
