Abstract

Bu yazıda, Türkiye'de kemik yerleşimli ilk Echinococcus alveolaris olgusunu ve ayrıca 1933'ten bu yana literatürde ilk vakayı sunduk. Bu olgu Türkiye'deki 96. Echinococcus alveolaris olgusudur. Bu olguların değerlendirilmesi; erkek prediksiyonunun olduğunu (52/44) gösterdi. Üçüncü dekadda 49 olgu ile en yüksek insidans görüldü. 89 olguda lezyon karaciğerdeydi (X& 92,7). Karaciğer hariç diz eklemi, kasık, lakrimal bez, abdominal kese, periton ve mezantery olguları da sunuldu. Karaciğere eşlik eden periton, mezantery, periaortik lenf nodları, beyin ve akciğer lezyonları vardı ve olgumuzda bir kemik lezyonu sunuldu. Çoğu olguda primer veya sekonder hepatik tümörler olduğu düşünüldü. Sadece beş olgu Echinococcus alveolaris olarak değerlendirildi. Vakaların çoğu (62 vaka) Doğu Anadolu'dan, çoğunluğu ise Kars ilinden (31 vaka) idi. Hastaların büyük çoğunluğu köylüler ve çiftçilerdi.

Abstract

In this paper, we presented the first case of bone located Echino- coccus alveolaris in Turkey and also the first one in the literature sin- ce 1933. This case is the 96 th Echinococcus alveolaris case in Turkey.The evaluation of those cases; showed us that there is a male pre- dilection (52/44). There was a peak incidence in the third decade with 49 cases.In 89 cases, the lesion was in the liver (X& 92,7). Excluding the liver, the cases of knee joint, groin, lacrimal gland, abdominal sac, peritoneum and mesantery were also presented. Accompanying to the liver, there were peritoneum, mesantery, periaortic Iymph nodes, brain and lung lesions and in our case a bone lesion Was presented.In many cases, they were suggested as a primary or secondary hepatic tumours. Only five cases were evaluated as Echinococcus alveolaris. Most of the cases (62 cases) were from Eastern Anatolia, and majority of them from Kars province (31 cases). The great majority, of the patients are the villagers and farmers.
