Abstract

Between 1961 and 1982, 200 cases of caustic esophageal burns were admitted to the Pediatric Surgery Clinic of the Ege University Faculty of Medicine. While the treatment methods to be applied in the acute and chronic periods were emphasized, the importance of protective measures was emphasized and implementation was requested.

Abstract

1961-1982 arasında Ege Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Çocuk Cerrahisi Kliniği'ne 200 kostik özofagus yanığı olgusu başvurmuştur. Akut ve kronik dönemde uygulanması gereken tedavi yöntemleri üzerinde durulurken koruyucu önlemlerin önemine dikkat çekilmiş ve uygulamaya geçilmesi istenmiştir.
