Abstract

Tirotoksikoz ile ilişkili değişik etiolojik faktörlerle oluşan hipotiroidizm türleri
gözden geçirilmiş ve tanıda önemli olan biyolojik bulgular arzedilmiştir.
Antitiroid ajanlarla tedavinin hedefini aşmasile oluşan reverzibi tablo, klinik
ve biyolojik bulguları ayrıntılarile incelenmiş olan 20 vakaya dayanarak münakaşa
edilmiştir. Bu koşulun tanısında serum T,, T,, CR, PBI-131, TSH ve TMSI”-
in önemi belirtilmiştir
Post-tiroidektomik erken ve geçici hipotiroidizm ile geç ve daimi hipotiroidizm
ensidansı arzedildikten sonra, bunların oluş mekanizmaları üzerindeki görüşler
kaydedilmiştir.
Tirotoksikozla ilişkili ve immün mekanizmalarla oluşan hipotiroidizm türlerine
ait örnekler verilmiş ve her birinin etiopatojenezi kısaca tartışılmıştır.
Nihayet, radyo-iyod tedavisine git hipotiroidizmin erken ve geç teşekkül eden
türleri belirtilmiş ve oluş mekanizmaları arzeğdilmiştir

Spontaneous Hypothyroidism in Clinical - Biological Picture and Thyrotoxicosis Due to Overtreatment with Antithyroid Agents

Abstract

We reviewed various conditions producing hypothyroidism related to thyrotoxicosis
and presented our biologic findings of importance in the diagnosis of the
condition.
We discussed the reversible hypothyroidism due to overtreatment of thyrotoxicosis
based on 20 cases investigated biologically in details and we pointed out
the importance of serum values of Ts, T,, CR, PBLI31, TSH and TMSI in the
diagnosis of the condition.
- We presented our incidence of carly and late post-thyroidectomic hypothyroidism
and summed up different views conceming its etiopathogenesis,
We have given the short story of cases concerning various sorts of hypothyroidişms
produced With immun mechanisms.
Finally, we presented hypothyroidism due to radio-iodine treatment of thyrotoxicosis
and discussed the nature of the condition.
