DİABETES MELLİTUS'LU HASTALARDA, DEKSTROZ SOLÜSYONU İÇERİSİNDE, DAİMİ - KÜÇÜK DOZ İNSÜLİN İNFÜZYONU METODU İLE CERRAHİ TEDAYİ*

Abstract

A.Ü. Tıp Fakültesi Endokrinoloji klinik ve polikliniğinde takibedilen ve Cer rahi girişime tabi tutulan 36 diabetes mellitus'lu hastada per ve post-operatuvar periodda uygulanan, daimi, küçük-doz-insülin infüzyon yöntemimiz ayrıntılariyle arzedildi. Hiçbir ölüm vakası ve komplikasyon gözlenmiyen bu ilk seri vakamıza istinaden yöntemin antajları tartışıldı.

Surgıcal Treatment In Patıents Wıth Dıabetes Mellıtus Usıng The Permanent - Small Dose Insulın Infusıon Method Indexed Todextrose Solutıon

Abstract

Several modes of continuous infusion with variabie crystallin insulin concentration in 5 94 dextrose have been investigated in the control of giycemia and complications during and after major and minor Surgery in diabetics controlled with insulin, oral antidiabetic medication or With diet alone. h Results obtained with treatment of diabetic patlenis, subjected to SUTgery, with continuous low-dose intusion ot insulin “are Satisfactory. No additional insufin injections are needed in this regimen. Giycosuria are observed, but no ketonurla is found in our patients treated with ihe method We recommended. Diabetic patient remains under constant insulin action during surgery and post-operative period. This method does not reguire very close supervision of the patient; it is more practical, simple, safe and teliable, There is no omission in the application during therapcutic period.
