Abstract

Brittle diabetes has been identiiied as episodes of hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia which çonstanly disrupt a patient's life. This report describes a woman on conventional doses of insülin in whom high titers of insulin-binding antibodies caused brittle diabetes. Her brittle diabetes was successfully treated by prednisolon therapy besides insülin.

Abstract

Sık hipoglisemi ve hiperglisemilerle yaşam kalitesi bozulan bir diabetli, bir «brittle» diabetes mellitus vakası kabul edilir. Burada sık hipoglisemi ve hiperglisemilerie yaşam kalitesi sürekli bozulan ve prednizolon tedavisi ile oldukça düzenli kan şekeri regülasyonu sağladığımız bir vakamızı sunuyoruz
