ULTRASTURCTURAL OBSERVATIONS IN IMMOTIL CILIA SYNDROME

Abstract

Immotile cilia syndrome is an autosomal recessive trait and seen in 1/15 000 - 30 000 live births, which is characterized by recurrent lower respiratory tract infections, bronchiectasis, situs inversus totalis, familial dextrocardia and maxillary sinusitis. We 2 examined cases with these clinical findings and observed that the ultrastructural changes were compatible with both chronic infection and primary ciliary dyskinesis

İMMOTİL SİLİYA SENDROMUNDA ULTRASTRÜKTÜREL GÖZLEMLER

Abstract

İmmotil siliya sendromu canlı doğumlarda 1/15 000-30 000 oranında olup otozomal resessif geçiş gösterir. Tekrarlayan solunum yolları infeksiyonlan, bronşiyektazi, situs inversus totalis, ailede dekstrokardi, maksiller sinüzit bulguları immotil siliya sendromuyla uyumludur Bu klinik bulguları gösteren iki olgu inceledik; ultrastrüktürel değişimlerinin hem kronik infeksiyon hem de primer siliyer diskineziyl'e uyumlu olduğunu saptadık.
