Abstract

Suboccipital, transpalatal, transsphenoidal, transtentorial and transoral approaches could be applied for operations in the regions of clivus and for. magnum. Because different regions are used as entry points during these operations there is need to know the relations among structures and variations of the threedimentional anatomy and variation of the structures which are located in posterior cranial fossa.For this reason we have examined the relationships among 13 points which had been located in posterior cranial fossa to transoral approaches. Furthermore, morfometric analyses were performed among 4 different points in the basis cranii externa.

Bu operasyonlar slras•mda farkll bölge„ lerin giris yeri olarak kullan1Jmas1 sebebiyle, fossa cranii posterior'da yer alan yapllarm üÇ boyutlu anatomisinin, varyasyonlanmn ve bu yapllarm birbirleriyle olan iliskilerinin bilinmesine ihtiyaç duyulmaktadlr. Bu amaçla, yirmibes kafatasmda fossa cranii posterior'da tesblt edilen 13 noktamn birbirleriyle olan iliskileri incelenmi$ir. Aynca transoral girisimlere yardlmcl olmak arnaclyla basis cranii externa' daki 4 farkll nokta arasmda da ölçümler yapllrmstlr
