Abstract

This case, presented here is a giant benign localised mesothelioma which is rarely seen associated with hypogiycemia and hypertrophic pulmonary osteoarthropaty as extrathoracic symptoms. Asa. result of surgical therapy, these symptoms are completely disappeared.No recurrency occured during the postoperative thirteen months follow up period.

Abstract

Nadir görülen dev benign bir lokalize mezetelyoma olgusu takdim edilmiştir. Ekstratorasik semptom olarak hipoglisemi ve hipertrofik pulmoner osteoartropati birlikte saptanan olgunun cerrahi tedavisi sonucunda ekstrapulmoner semptomlar tamamen düzelmiştir.Olgunun postoperatif 13 aylık kontrolünde nüks saptanmamıştır.
