Abstract

Three cases with abdominal tuberculosis were hospitalized because of nonspecific complaints such as abdominal distention abdominal pain, anorexia, fatigüe and loss of weight. Since abdominal tuberculosis is rare in children, it Was interesting to diagnose three patients in 18 months. İf tuberculosis is not especially suspected, the routine laboratory and radiologic tesis may be misleading. In all three patients the chest K-rays, and in one the calon X-ray were found to be normal. Tuberculin tesis were negative in all of them. Abdominal tuberculosis suspected but definite diagnoses Were made only by peritoneal biopsy. All patients were cured With routine tuberculosis therapy.

Karın Tüberkülozu

Abstract

Kliniğimize karın şişliği, karın ağrısı, halsizlik, iştahsızlık ve zayıflama gibi spesifik olmayan yakınmalarla gelen üç karın tüberkülozu olgusu incelendi. Çocuklarda nadir olduğu bildirilmesine karşın 18 ay içinde üç olgunun birden görülmesi ilginç bulundu. Eğer tüberkülozdan şüphelenilmezse rutin laboratuvar ve radyolojik incelemeler yanıltıcı olabilir. Hastaların üçünde de akciğer grafisi, bir hastada yapılan kolon grafisi normaldi. Hepsinde tüberkülin testi negatif bulundu. Hastalara kesin tanı ancak periton biopsisi ile konuldu. Tümü tedaviye iyi yanıt verdiler.
