Abstract

This study was designed to evaluate the effect of nitrous oxide on • the incidençe of postoperative nausea and vomiting. Fourty patients (ASA 1 or 2) undergoing elective gynecological laparascopy were divided rondomly into two groups Patients in Group 1 received 50 % nitrous oxide, 50 • 0/0 oxygen plus 1.0 1.5 % halothane, while in Group 11 nitrous oxide was omitted and anesthesia was induced with 100 % oxygen plus - 2 % halothane. Jinekolojik Laparoskopi Vakalarında Nitröz Oksidin Bulantı Kusma İnsidansına Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışma nitröz oksitin, postoperatif bulantı kusma insidansına etkisini saptamak amacı ile planlandı. Elektif jinekolojik lanaraskopı geçiren ASAI veya 2,40 hasta rastgele iki gruba ayrıldı. I. Gruptaki hastalar % 50 nitröz oksit, % 50 02 ve % 1 - 1.5 halotan alırken, II. Grupta nitröz oksitten kaçınıldı ve anestezi % 100 02 ve % 1.5 - 2 halothan ile gerçekleştirildi. Ekstübasyondan sonra, bulantı kusma insidansı, I. Grupta II. Gruptan önemli derecede yüksek bulundu (PK 0.05). İki grup arasındaki bu farklılık erken (recovery odasındaj ve geç (koğuşta) postoperatif dönemde önemini korumadı. Postoperatif analjezik ve antiemetik kullanımı bakımından gruplar arasında farklılığa rastlanmadı . Bu çalışmanın sonuçlarına dayanarak biz nitröz oksitin laparaskopi geçiren hastalarda bulantı kusmaya yol açabileceğini söyleyebiliriz.
