Effects of Capd and Hemodialysis Treatments on Blood Pressure

Abstract

Eleven patients with severe renal failure were investigated in respect to blood pressure that was taken on hemodialysis after CAPD. systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the fourth month of CAPD were compared to first, second, third and fourth months of hemodialysis respectively. Systolic blood pressure in patients undergoing hemodialysis in all measuremenis and diastolic blood pressure in the first two months of hemodialysis were found to be significantly higher (p< 0.01) than those in CAPD.

Capd Ve Hemodializ Tedavilerinin Kan Basınçlarına Etkileri

Abstract

CAPD tedavisini takiben çeşitli nedenlerle hemodiyaliz tedavisi gören ileri böbrek yetmezlikli 11 hasta, kan basınçları yönünden incelendi. CAPD tedavisinin 4. ayı ile, hemodiyaliz tedavisinin ilk 4 ayı sistolik ve diyastolik kan basınçları ayrı ayrı karşılaştırıldı, Hemodi- yalizin ilk 4 ayında sistolik kan basıncı, ilk 2 ayındaki diyastolik kan basıncı CAPD'ye göre anlamlı derecede yüksekti (p< 0.01). CAPD uygulanan dönemde bazı antihipertansif ilaçların kesildiği, dozlarının azaldığı görülürken, hemodiyaliz uygulama döneminde antihipertansif ilaçlara tekrar başlandığı, dozlarının arttığı ve kombine tedaviye gereksinim olduğu belirlendi.
