Abstract

Tüm over tümörlerinin % 1.72 sini oluşturan Brenner tümörünün, malign variantı son derece enderdir. İçerdiği değişik malign komponentler, overin primer ve sekonder malign tümörleri ile yakın benzerlikier taşıdığından, tanıda güçlükler yaratabilir. Malign Brenner tümörü olan ve çok nadir bir malign komponent olan müsinöz ade nokarsinoma komponentine sahip bir vaka nedeni ile, tümörün histopatolojik özellikleri incelenmiş ve literatür gözden geçirilmiştir.

Abstract

Brenner tumor, which constitutes 1.72% of all ovarian tumors, has a very rare malignant variant. The various malignant components it contains can create difficulties in diagnosis because they are similar to primary and secondary malignant tumors of the ovary. A case with a malignant Brenner tumor and a very rare malignant component, mucinous adenocarcinoma, was examined for histopathological features of the tumor and the literature was reviewed.
