Changes in Serum Electrolyte Levels in Transurethral Resection of the Prostate

Abstract

TUR-P yapılan prostat hipertrofili 85 olguda pre-op ve post-op kan elektrolit düzeyleri ölçüldü. Gelişen serum elektrolit düzeylerindeki değişiklikler, rezeksiyon süresi, rezeke edilen doku miktarı ve intravezikal basınç seviyeleri değişken parametreler olarak kabul edilip karşılaştırılmalı olarak değerlendirildi.13 olguda gözlenen dilüsyonel hiponatremi pre„op dönemde planIman ve post-op dönemde effektif olarak uygulanan medikal tedavilerle TUR-P sendromunun ileri devreleri gelişmeksizin önlendi.İyi hazırlanmış, endikasyonu tam konmuş olgularda dikkatli ve titiz bir rezeksiyon yapıldıktan sonra, etkin post-operatif bakım TUR-P nin erken komplikasyonlarını hayli azaltmaktadır. Bu da bize TUR-P nin endikasyon alanlarım arttırmamız için cesaret ilerici olarak kabul edilmiştir.
