Abstract

Mevcut araştırma, RİA taşıyan 71 kadından ve CO kullanmayan kadınlardan oluşan bir kontrol grubunda yürütülmüştür. Araştırmamızın amacı, RİA'nın kadın genital sistemi üzerindeki etkisini ve kontraseptif etki mekanizmalarını bulmaktı. Tüm kadınlardan farklı adet günlerinde serviko vajinal yaymalar, endometrial yıkamalar ve endometrial biyopsi örnekleri alındı ​​ve sitopatolojik ve histopatolojik olarak incelendi. Sonuçlar aşağıdaki gibi özetlenmiştir:
1 - RİA kullanımı genital sistemde yabancı bir cisim gibi davrandı ve aşırı hücresel dökülme ve inflamatuar reaksiyon üretti.
2- RİA kullanım süresiyle inflamatuar değişiklikler azaldı.
3- RİA kullanımı endometriumda adet gecikmesine neden oldu.
4- Rahim içi cihazın kontraseptif etkisi, endometriumdaki inflamatuar hücrelere ve endometrial gecikmeye bağlandı.

Cytopathological And Histopathological Examination Of The Effects Of Intrauterine Devices On The Female Genital Tract

Abstract

The present investigation was carried out in a group of 71 women carrying IUDs and a control group of CO non-user women. Our purpose of the investigation was to find out the effect of the IUD on the female genital tract and the mechanisms of the contraceptive effect. Cervico vaginal smears, endometrial washings and endometrial biopsy specimens were taken from all of the women of different menstrual days and they were examined cytopathologically and histopathologically. The results were summarized as follows
1 - The IUD using was acted as a foreign body in the genital tract and it produced excess cellular shedding and inflammatory reaction.
2- Inflamatory changes were decreased by the duration of the IUD using.
3- The IUD using caused menstrual retardation in endometri um.
4-The contraceptive effect of intrauterine device was attributed to the inflammatory cells in the endometrium and endometrial retardation.
