Sublingual Isosorbnde Dinktrate Uygulanmasında Görülen Ekokardiyografik Değişiklikler
Abstract
The Echocardiographie Changes Due to Sublingualiy Given isosorbide Dinitrate ' Echicardiographic effects of sublingual Isosorbide Dinitrate are examined in 35 cardiac patients with and without congestive heart failure and in a group of 5 norcardiac cases. Echograms are taken before and after receiving the drug. , İsosorbide dinitrate reduced left atrial dimensions, left ventricular dimensions and volumes in all cases. These findings explain the useful effects of isosorbide dinitrate in reducing the guantity of venous return and in decreasing the preİoadThe drug has more useful effects in patients without congestive heart failure. However it improves the cardiac performance in all cases.Isosorbide dinitrate must be combined with digital-diuretic therapy in pati ents with congestive heart failure
