Pyloric Pressure Changes in Patients with Gastric and Duodenal Ulcers

Abstract

Duodenum ülseri bulunan hastalarda ortalama pilor sfikteri basıncı kontrollere oranla bioistatistiki bakımdan farklı bulunmamıştır. Mide ülseri bulunan hastalarda ise kontrollere ve duodenum ülserli hastalara oranla anlamlı şekilde düşük bulunmuştur. Bu neticeler literatür bulguları ile uyum içersindedir.

Abstract

Changes of pyloric pressure in patients wiih gastric and.duodenal ulcer. In patients with duodenal ulcer and in controls, pyloric sphincter pressures were obtained using infusion cathaters. Application of students «p» test did not show significant differences between the two groups. In gastric ulcer patients ho- - wever the resutls were significantiy less than those with duodenal ulcer patients and controls. These resutls are in accord with the resutls already published elsewhere,
