Abstract

Son 5 yıl içerisinde kliniğimizde metroplasti uygulanan 11 vak'adan 4 tanesinde miada ulaşan gebelik vuku bulmuş ve bu hastalar sezaryen ile doğurtulmuştur. Uterus bikomus vak'aların da Strassmann, uterus subseptus ve septus vakalarında ise Jones, ve Tompkins operasyonu uygulanmıştır.

Sezaryende uterustaki metroplasti nedbelerinin zayıf ve dayanıksız görünümde olmalarlna dikkate alarak, vak'alarm doğuma terk edilmelerinin sakıncalı olacağı kanısındayız.

Abstract

During the last five years eleven metroplastic operatiors have been performed In our clinic. Four of these cases had pregnancies reaching term and were delivered by cesarean section.
In case of uterus bicornis Strassmann operation and in cases of uterus septus or subseptus Jones or Tompkins operations are preferred. Of our four cases with pregnancies reaching term, one was treated by Strassmann operation, two by Jones operation and one by Tompkins operation.
During cesarean sections, the scar tissue seen on the uteruses due to metroplastic operations, seemed to be very thin and weak. For this reason we believe that ofter metroplastic operations, normal labor and delivery will carry very high risk for the patient and the baby.
