Abstract

Systematic investigation of the meckel's diverticulu min appendec tomies (Appendicitis with meckel's Diverticulitis)
During the period between 1966 - 1971 (from Jan., 1966 to Dec., 1970), eighty - eight patients operated in our Surgical Clinic with acute, subacute and chronic appendicitis were systematically investigated to identify the presence of Meckel's diverticulum. In these cases, in one male patient (age, 25) acute appendicitis with Meckel's diverticulitis and thrombopenia, in one female patient (age, 21) acute appendicitis with Meckel's diverticulitis in one female patient (age, 23) appendicitis with Meckel.s diverticulitis containing two secondary diverticula and in another male patient (age, 27) appendicitis with Meckel's diverticulum were found.
In eighty-eight patients, 3,4 % were encountered to haev appendicitis with Meckel's diverticulitis and 1,1 % was encountered to have appendivitis with Meckel's divedticulum.
Appendectomies and diverticulectomies were perfomed simultaneously in all four cases. No operative and postoperative complivation seen in any case.

Apandektomilerde Sistematik Olarak Meckel Divertikülünün Aranması (*) (Apandisitle Birlikte Meckel Divertiküliti)

Abstract

1966 - 1971 yılları arasındaki devrede Cerrahi Kliniğimizde ameliyat edilen akut, subakut ve kronik apandisitli seksen-sekiz hastada sistematik olarak Meckel divertikülü araştırıldı. Bu vak'alarda, bir erkek hastada akut apandisitle birlikte Meckel diverfiküliti ve trombopeni, bir kadın hastada akut apadisitle birlikte Meckel divertiküliti, bir kadın hastada apandisitle bilikte iki sekonder divertikül ihtiva eden Meckel divertiküliti ve diğer bir erkek hasta da apandisitle birlikte Meckel divertikülü bulundu.
Seksen - sekiz hastada % 3,4 oranında apandisitle beraber Meckel divertikülitine ve % 1,1 oranında apandisitle beraber Meckel divertikülüne raslandı.
Bu dört vak'ada apandektomiler ve divertikülektomiler ayni seansta yapıldılar. Hiçbir vak'ada operatif ve postoperatif bir komplikasyon görülmedi.
